SMTA - Welcome to Our Web Site
Year 1947 saw many people migrate from Pakistan to India. A great influx from Sialkot - the globally known hub for the surgical instruments came and settled in Delhi. Some pioneers formed an association of such traders in 1951. Now it is known as 'The Surgical Manufacturers & Traders Association'. SMTA - a pan India organization offers a one stop shopper's station to fulfill all requirements of Private Clinics, Nursing Homes, Hospitals, Medical Colleges, Institutes and Laboratories.

After persistent follow ups, DPCC has ultimately implemented the re-categorization of Trades as per CPCB Notification of April, 2016 and has announced introduction of 'White Category' of industrial trades due to which consents are no more required to be taken by the industrial units falling in this category This implies that practically more than 60 percent units shall now be out of the ambit of DPCC licensing. The list has already been uploaded in their Website or can be referred to as attached. All those falling in this list are required to send intimation on plain paper to DPCC and need not renew/apply for such consent. The notified re-categorized lists of different categories by DPCC may have some disparities. Please send complaints on e-mail with details of process of manufacturing and details of raw materials etc. to file your objections with the Delhi Pollution Control Committee through its chairman - Mr. Neeraj Sehgal Mobile No.: +91 9891139441, e-mail : miwamayapuri@gmail.com for redressal. The members are requested to send their complaints/suggestions/issues addressed to Shri Neeraj Sehgal, Chairman Pollution Control Committee.
